GEORGETOWN, SC, December 6, 2006 – The Bell Legal Group is proud to announce the addition of attorney David Page of Fresno, California, who has recently become a member of the firm working primarily from the new Bell Legal Group office located in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Born in 1954, Mr. Page attended school in the San Francisco Bay area. In 1973 he enrolled in San Jose State University, where he became President of the Sigma Chi Fraternity and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religious Studies and a second major in Political Science in 1978.

In 1978, David enrolled at the University of Tulsa Law School, immediately following his marriage to his high school sweetheart, Tracy Ann (Hogan) Page. Mr. Page earned his Juris Doctor degree in 1981 graduating with honors, Order of the Curule Chair, and the Page family, including two children, has resided in Tulsa ever since.

Since his graduation from law school David has engaged in the private practice of law focusing his career on complex business litigation, complex environmental litigation, and environmental regulatory compliance.  He enjoys a reputation for innovative thinking and is known for his technical expertise and work with environmental scientists and other technical experts.  Some of the unique projects that he has worked on include representing the Cities of Bartlesville, Oklahoma and Blackwell, Oklahoma on the first Superfund State Deferral Project under the Superfund Accelerated Clean-Up Model (SACM).  He also conceived, negotiated, and successfully implemented the first “clean closure” of an RCRA permitted facility using risk analysis principles.  David also originated and oversaw the development of a unique environmental tracking/management system for the discontinued operations of a major integrated oil company, and led the negotiations and managed the implementation of multi-faceted risk-based multi-media environmental cleanups at the Miami, Boston, and San Francisco International Airports.  At this time in his career, he also managed the development of the legal theories, strategy, and evidence used by the Miami International Airport to prosecute a $200 million dollar plus environmental cleanup action against the Department of Defense and over one hundred other industrial polluters (PRPs).

From 1993-1998, David served as National Environmental Counsel for American Airlines and has traveled much in his career having handled cases in court or appeared before environmental administrative agencies in the states of Alabama, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nebraska, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas and Washington D.C.  Recently, David represented a local non-profit corporation, Citizens for Clean Water, Inc., in making comments to the USEPA on the proposed Combined Animal Feeding Operation (CAFO) rules.

David is currently representing the State of Oklahoma in a natural resources damages case involving pollution of Eastern Oklahoma ’s rivers and lakes from the waste disposal practices of the poultry industry.  His responsibility in that case has been the management of the State’s technical, scientific and economic experts.

David has been both a Barrister and Master of the Hudson/Hall/Wheaton Chapter of the American Inns of Court ( Tulsa, Oklahoma), is a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, and is rated “AV” by Martindale-Hubbell.

In addition to his law practice, and throughout his adult life, David has been involved with various community, non-profit, and church related activities.  The organizations and activities he has worked with and assisted include:  First Christian Church (Elder, Board of Trustees); Hospice of Green Country (Chairman, Board of Trustees); Metro Christian Academy (Advisory Board, General Counsel); Covenant Point Family Ministries (Advisory Board, General Counsel); Eastern Oklahoma Conference of the Pentecostal Holiness Church (New Horizons Ministries) General Counsel; Lydia’s House (Counsel); Osteopathic Founders Foundation (Counsel); United States Council for Sports Chaplaincy (Counsel); Youth Mentor Program to Reduce Gang Violence (Board of Trustees), Abiding Harvest United Methodist Church (teacher, worship team member and Board of Trustees);  The University of Tulsa College of Law Public Policy Institute (Board of Visitors) and Leadership Tulsa Class of 1994.  David has also served on missionary trips to South America, North India and the Caribbean Islands.
