Jurors will hear closing arguments today in the trail about a 1999 wreck that killed one person and injured another.
Sonya Watson, who was 17 at the time of the wreck, was driving a 1995 Ford Explorer and is now a quadriplegic. Patricia Carter, who was in the seat behind Watson, died in the wreck.
Attorneys for the plaintiffs in the case against Ford Motor Co., TRW Vehicle Safety Systems Inc. and D&D Motors Inc. have said Watson and Carter were wearing seatbelts and that the belts came unlatched. But defense attorneys have said Watson and Carter weren't wearing seatbelts.
